Hi everyone, this is Jess! Kenan and I couldn't be more excited about opening Maple & Co! Our goal is to one day open a storefront in Reno, NV. I have always loved baby clothes (who hasn't), but I noticed somewhat of a lack of mama merchandise. Mom's carry the weight of their families day in and day out making sure everyone is taken care of, but we wanted to ensure there was a little something for them to enjoy.
Being comfortable through pregnancy can be difficult, but we are doing everything we can to ensure it is as painless as possible. It has been a dream of ours to own our own business and since I have been working in a local brick and mortar, we have realized what that business was going to be.
Believe it or not, originally I wanted to start my own event planning business, (random, I know, but who doesn't love a good party), don't worry...I VERY soon realized it wasn't as fun as it seemed. Baby merchandise on the other hand is everything you would imagine. The clothes bring us joy and knowing we are helping families find merchandise that is perfect for them makes it even more fulfilling.
We know how hard starting a business is and we appreciate all the support we have been shown. We admire small business for thriving and making a name for themselves and we hope to build a community around our boutique in the many years to come!
